Real Plumbing Solutions for Southampton's Unique Homes
Southampton’s mix of older builds and newer construction means no two properties age the same way. We don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach because your home doesn’t have a one-size-fits-all problem. Whether it’s a slow drain in a 1960s ranch or a water softener issue in a newer development, Heiland Services studies your system first and fixes it based on what we actually find, not on assumptions.
Clogged Drain Repair
A drain that moves slowly is losing ground every day. Left alone, partial blockages become full ones, and full ones can push waste back where it doesn't belong. We trace the clog to its actual source, whether it's accumulated grease, compacted debris, or root growth pressing in from outside the line, and we clear it completely. We use cabling for accessible blockages and switch to hydro jetting when the buildup runs deep. Once the line is open, we verify the cause so you're not stuck with the same problem a few weeks later.
Sump Pump Installation
Not every home needs the same pump, and installing the wrong size is almost as bad as having none at all. We evaluate your property's groundwater exposure, basement layout, and drainage slope before making any recommendations. Then we install and test a unit built for your specific conditions. A correctly sized and properly installed pump keeps water damage out of your lower level before it ever has a chance to start, not just after you've already had to pull up carpet.
Water Heater Installation
Before we recommend a unit, we ask how your household actually uses hot water throughout the day. Peak demand in a five-person home looks very different from a couple working from home, and your equipment should reflect that. We install both traditional tank models and space-saving tankless water heaters, handling everything from removing the old unit to testing the new one under real load. You don't have to guess whether it'll hold up. We confirm it before we leave.
Plumbing Inspection
The pipes you can't see are often the ones doing the most damage. Our inspection goes beyond the obvious fixtures and extends to your supply lines, drain connections, and shut-off valves at every accessible point in the home. We document what we find and give you a prioritized breakdown: what needs attention now, what can wait, and what's in good shape. There's no sales pressure attached, just a clear and honest picture of where your system actually stands.
Sewer and Septic Inspections
By the time you notice slow drainage or an odor, the system has usually been struggling for a while. We inspect the full waste line for cracks, root intrusion, collapsed sections, and restricted flow. For homeowners buying or selling in Southampton, this inspection is critical, as title searches and home sales can stall quickly when underground issues surface at the wrong moment. We report exactly what we find and lay out your real options.
Video Inspection
Before we recommend any pipe repair, we want to see the problem firsthand. Our camera system runs through your lines and delivers real-time footage of what's happening underground, whether that's a belly holding standing water, a crack letting soil seep in, or a blockage that keeps rebuilding after cleaning. You watch alongside us and understand exactly what the fix involves before we commit to anything. No estimates based on guesswork, and no excavation before we know it's necessary.
Well Pump Installation
A private well gives you independence from municipal water, but only as long as the pump keeps up with your demand. We assess your well's depth, your household's peak usage patterns, and any current pressure inconsistencies before sizing a system. That evaluation means the pump we install is matched to how your home actually runs, not just a standard unit dropped in without context. We run full-pressure and flow tests at every tap before the job is complete.
Well Pump Repair
Well pump problems often start quietly. A slight pressure drop in the morning. A tap that hesitates before flowing. Water that comes in surges instead of a steady stream. These are early warning signs, and catching them before the pump quits completely saves you from a disrupted day and a more expensive repair. We systematically diagnose the motor, pressure switch, and holding tank, carry the parts most likely needed, and run the full cycle before leaving so you know the fix holds.
Water Treatment
Enjoy clean, safe, and purified water in your Southampton home. Heiland Home Services provides full-service water treatment and filtration, specializing in sediment removal, reverse osmosis purification, and UV sterilization. We diagnose the root cause of your water issues and install custom solutions with transparent pricing and dependable local service.
Water Conditioning
Scale buildup narrows supply lines over time, forces equipment to work harder, and cuts years off the life of appliances that should last much longer. We test the mineral content of your water and design a conditioning setup that fits your home's specific chemistry. Better-tasting water and a longer-lived plumbing system are the outcomes you notice after a properly matched installation.
Water Softeners
The blue-green stains around your faucet handles and the film that builds up in your shower aren't cosmetic problems. They're evidence that excess calcium and magnesium are moving through every line in your house. As part of our water treatment in Southampton, we match softener capacity to your household's real daily use. We size it right, install it clean, and walk you through maintenance so performance stays strong long after we're gone.
Acid Neutralizers
Low pH water is corrosive, and it works quietly. Blue-green staining on copper fixtures and pinhole leaks appearing earlier than they should are common signs your water's acidity is out of range. We measure your actual pH level before recommending anything, then install a neutralizer set to bring your supply into a stable and protective range. The goal is water that stops degrading your pipes and starts preserving them instead.
Carbon Filters
A chlorine smell, a flat taste, and an instinct to reach for bottled water are all signs that your tap water contains compounds that shouldn't be there. Carbon filtration intercepts those elements before the water reaches your glass or your cooking pot. We select the right filter based on your household's daily volume, set you up with a simple cartridge schedule that keeps performance consistent, and make sure the system is doing its job from the first day forward.
Whole House Sediment Filters
Sediment accumulates gradually, which is part of why it is easy to overlook. Grit on glasses coming out of the dishwasher, a showerhead that's losing pressure, and appliances that wear out ahead of schedule are all connected to particulate matter moving through your supply. We install whole-house sediment filters sized to your home's actual flow rate, so every faucet and appliance in the house draws from a protected supply.
Reverse Osmosis Systems
Tap water that looks clear can still carry dissolved contaminants you won't detect by sight or smell. Our reverse osmosis systems filter your water through multiple stages, stripping out heavy metals, nitrates, chlorine byproducts, and other dissolved solids before they reach your glass. We size and set up the unit to match your household's daily drinking volume, then confirm pressure and flow at the tap before we leave.
Ultraviolet Water Purifiers
Bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms can pass through a standard filter without triggering any visible sign in your water. UV purification solves that by exposing your supply to a controlled ultraviolet light source that neutralizes harmful organisms at the cellular level, without adding chemicals or altering the taste and smell of your water. We install UV systems inline with your existing supply line so every tap in the house draws from treated water.

Our sewer line was clogged, when Tek arrived and surveyed the problem he explained very clearly how he was going to solve our problem and what the cost was going to be. He tried to remove the cap on the clean out but after being there for approximately 40 years it would not budge so he removed the toilet and worked from there. The young man was very polite and knowledgeable and did a good job in solving our problem. It was getting late on Sunday afternoon so when he was done we told him we would clean up but he insisted on doing it and did a good job. I thought the price to remove and replace the toilet was high. Would I use them again? YesPosted on Google![]()
